Dr James Russell has been accredited by the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This highly prestigious award is given in recognition of excellence in cosmetic dentistry. James is the youngest dentist to achieve this.
In 2010 James was voted as the 5th most influential dentist in the UK and in 2011 was voted #1 in the Private Dentistry Elite 20.
Dr James Russell was the big winner at the 2009 Smile Awards and has since been part of the judging process. The awards were created to "recognise and award those dentists practicing at the highest level of aesthetic dentistry."
James won the Conservative Smile Award for his use of a single veneer to mask a dark front tooth, the key element of this is the ability to blend the result perfectly into the adjacent teeth.
He was also Highly Commended in the Restorative Smile category. In this case 10 porcelain veneers were used to create a beautifully natural smile AND finally, James provided the clinical work for an implant supported bridge that won the Aesthetic Technician award.
James said, "It's an honour to be recognised at the Smile Awards, I'm always looking to improve my techniques and provide the best for my patients – it's fantastic to have this acknowledged by the judges."
